At Reciclad’OR, we believe that responsibility towards the future doesn’t stop at packaging and regulations. It extends to the people who will live in that future. No one represents it better than the children who today step onto the podium for the first time in their lives.
That is why we chose to stand alongside NOVA Swimming Generation at NOVA Summer Challenge ’26. It is one of the most anticipated junior swimming competitions in Romania. An event that doesn’t just measure seconds in the pool, but builds character, discipline, and dreams.
What is NOVA Summer Challenge
NOVA Swimming Generation is a swimming school and club with a clear mission: “Every child is a SuperNOVA in the making.” At every edition of NOVA Summer Challenge, hundreds of athletes of all ages compete in a professional setting. From the youngest ones just discovering the water, to already high-performing juniors — all are welcomed in a warm community atmosphere.
The competition brings together families, coaches, and clubs from across the country. Its partners believe that early sport is not a luxury, but an investment in health, character, and active citizenship.
Why we are there
At Reciclad’OR, we have a committed mandate: to build a more responsible future. This doesn’t just mean helping producers and importers meet their legal recycling obligations. It means looking beyond the immediate — to the world that follows and to the people who will inhabit it.
When a seven-year-old child steps onto the top of the podium with the trophy held high, they know nothing about PPWR or the circular economy. But they know that perseverance brings results. That discipline matters. That there are people who believe in them.
What we saw from the sidelines
The pool buzzed with applause at every race. Children came out of the water and stepped onto the podium. They held their trophies high — with a joy that needed no context or explanation.
We saw five-year-old girls swimming with everything they had. Fourteen-year-old boys who won by a head and accepted their awards with maturity. And above all, we saw parents and coaches who supported every single one of them, regardless of their final placement.
This is youth sport in its purest form: not about rankings, but about formation.
The partnership that builds the future
We choose to support initiatives like this because the values we cultivate daily — responsibility, long-term commitment, forward thinking — are exactly the values that sport instills in young people.
An EPR organization that speaks about the “future” of packaging has a duty to also speak about the future of people.
