The event will take place at Romaero between 10-th-12-th of September. Five stages, a great line-up with over 100 artists, including big names such as Alan Walker, Don Diablo, Tiesto, Carl Cox and Amelie Lens and many surprises in store for those who will attend the SAGA super experience. In order to encourage festival-goers and artists to become eco-friendly and reduce their impact on the environment by recycling and reusing 100% of recyclable waste, SAGA is launching the “SAGA GOES GREEN” component, together with strategic partners Reciclad’OR, Rematholding Co, Rom Waste Solutions, as well as NGOs Let’s Do It, Romania! and WWF-Romania. Thanks to the circular economy, SAGA GOES GREEN transforms creative development processes and promotes innovation to minimize the environmental impact while maximizing the positive social impact.
At the festival, both food and drink vendors will use sustainable, environmentally friendly products, and the production team has used alternative fuels for the organisation to reduce the carbon footprint.
In addition, festival-goers are advised to use public transport, ride-sharing, scooters or bicycles as alternative resources. Last but not least, at the festival, fans are encouraged to take their used plastic cups to the bar and will be rewarded with surprise prizes for their sustainable gesture.
