Reciclad’OR at Forbes Kids Festival 2026: 200+ children, 8 hours of green fun, and the Recycling Superhero at Mogoșoaia Palace
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, in the heart of the fairytale grounds of Mogoșoaia Palace, under the sunny sky and the shade of century-old trees, Reciclad’OR turned a weekend day into a living lesson on how to save the planet — with a smile and a cotton candy in hand. Forbes Kids 2026 × Reciclad’OR — a winning combination for environmental education.
We were present at the Forbes Kids Festival 2026 – Explorers Without Borders, one of the most anticipated children’s events in Romania, and we brought with us what we do best: making recycling fun, memorable, and — above all — inspiring children to become true heroes of the planet.
Forbes Kids 2026 × Reciclad’OR – The Reciclad’OR Oasis: 8 hours of activities, joy, and green lessons
For 8 hours, our green corner — easy to spot thanks to the huge number of children gathered around — was one of the liveliest destinations of the festival. Over 200 children visited the Reciclad’OR Oasis, drawn by bright colors, balloons, laughter, and, of course, the Recycling Superhero.
What awaited them inside?
A world where every activity hides a lesson, and every lesson hides a surprise.
What happened inside the Reciclad’OR Oasis
Pottery – when nature meets creativity
One of the most beloved surprises of the day was the pottery wheel. The little participants shaped clay with their own hands — a unique sensory experience, far from screens and close to the earth. We chose pottery not only because it’s beautiful, but because it reflects our values: natural materials have worth, transformation is possible, and human hands can create anything.
Themed puzzles – thinking, patience, ecology
Children assembled ecological-themed puzzles created especially by Reciclad’OR. A simple, engaging game with a deep message: the world around us deserves to be looked at carefully, piece by piece.
Reciclad’OR activity booklets – education in the form of play
Our recycling activity booklets were a huge success. Filled with exercises, mazes, coloring pages, and information about waste sorting, they kept the little participants focused and curious. Many left with the booklet completed — and with new knowledge about what correct recycling means.
Cotton candy – the reward for knowledge
Anyone who answered an ecology question correctly received cotton candy. Simple, effective, and absolutely delicious. Have you ever seen 200 children more motivated to learn what happens to plastic after you throw it in the right bin? We have — and it was wonderful.
The Recycling Superhero – the star of the day
Dressed in green, with a mask and cape, the Recycling Superhero won everyone’s hearts. He high-fived, took photos, explained why recycling makes us all superheroes — and proved that protecting the planet can be cool, fun, and accessible to anyone, regardless of age. The line of children waiting to join his contests and take photos with him lasted all day.
Reciclad’OR prizes – everyone leaves a winner
At Reciclad’OR, no child leaves without a prize. Every participant went home with a bag full of green surprises:
- Recycling Superhero T-shirts
- Caps
- Fans (eco-friendly and useful!)
- Wooden participation medals
- Themed puzzles
- Collectible badges
- Reusable tote bags
- …and many other surprises!
Each item, from the T-shirt to the badge, is a small ambassador of the idea that recycling is a lifestyle, not just a bin.
Why Forbes Kids? Because the future is being shaped now.
The Forbes Kids Festival is a space where children discover that the world is bigger and more fascinating than a classroom. It’s a place where curiosity is rewarded, exploration encouraged, and where brands come not to sell, but to inspire.
Reciclad’OR chose to be there because our mission doesn’t end at the recycling bin. It begins with education. And education begins with children.
When a 5-year-old understands why plastic must be separated from paper, when an 8-year-old answers an ecology question to win cotton candy, when a 10-year-old goes home with an activity booklet she’ll show her parents — that’s where real change is born.
CSR means being present where it matters
Participating in the Forbes Kids Festival 2026 – Explorers Without Borders is part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). At Reciclad’OR, we believe a recycling company must be present not only in factories and collection centers, but in parks, at festivals, and in the heart of the communities it aims to inspire.
We invested not only resources, but time, energy, and passion into this day, because we know that the seeds planted today will bear fruit tomorrow. Or perhaps even sooner: several children told us before leaving that they would go home and explain to their mothers how to sort waste. Mission accomplished.
