The platform issues packaging sheets, technical documentation and declarations of conformity every day for more than 500 packaging codes, one week before the first requirements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 become enforceable on 12 August.

One week after the official launch on 29 July 2026, the Yvora platform (www.yvora.ro) is already used by over 100 companies in Romania, which generate packaging sheets, technical documentation and declarations of conformity daily for more than 500 packaging codes.

Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR) becomes partially enforceable starting 12 August 2026 — the deadline by which companies placing packaging on the EU market must be able to prove compliance through complete technical documentation and a declaration of conformity.

The Yvora platform automates this process: for each packaging, users build a sheet with its components, from which the Technical Documentation (Annex VII) and the Declaration of Conformity (Annex VIII) are automatically generated, in no more than 5 minutes per packaging. Upon validation, each document is archived according to the requirements of Art. 39 of the regulation, with retention periods of 5 or 10 years, and the complete file for each code is downloaded as a single archive.

Beyond the mandatory documents, the application includes technical risk analyses for each packaging, an EPR Register for EU markets, data import and export functions, as well as an API for integration with companies’ internal systems. Each subscription includes instructions for every field in the platform, completion guides, eLearning modules and access to a consultant specialized in PPWR.

The regulated deadlines extend until 2030, as new PPWR requirements become applicable: harmonized labelling and QR codes, minimum recycled plastic content, EPR fee eco‑modulation, reuse, banned packaging formats, minimization and empty space limits, among others. Yvora will integrate these modules as the European Commission’s delegated acts become applicable, at no additional cost for existing subscribers.
