Reciclad’OR awarded CSR Excellence Awards at the Capital Excellence in Management Gala

As a leader in the market for the transfer of responsibility for the collection, recovery and recycling of packaging, Reciclad’OR sets an example of CSR in the Romanian market. That is why the company has been nominated for the CSR Excellence Awards at the Capital Excellence in Management Gala, an annual event where the performance of managers from renowned companies in our country is awarded. The event was attended by a host of personalities from the world of politics, business, media, culture, medicine and sport.

Reciclad`OR, over 150 CSR campaigns with national impact

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the key components in the Reciclad`OR working model and sets an example of CSR in the Romanian market.

CSR is the company’s “catalyst” and “adjuvant”, through which they have managed to raise awareness and eco-inform over 5 million people about the need to protect the environment in which we live, during the 5 years of their activity.

Through strategic partnerships with state authorities, non-governmental environment and responsible companies in Romania, Reciclad`OR has developed and participated in over 150 CSR campaigns with impact at national level.

Reciclad’OR awarded the CSR Excellence Awards at the Capital Excellence in Management Gala, an annual event that honors the performance of managers from reputable companies in our country, regardless of the industry they belong to or the department they lead.

This year’s winners in the CSR category at the Capital Excellence in Management Gala, awarded by the representative of Reciclad’OR, were:

• Daniel Epure, Director of the Metropolis Foundation – Award for the renovation of public hospitals with private money
• Aurelian Ștefan, founder of Animal Hospital – Award for the development of the first hospital dedicated to stray animals
• Robert Uzună, Vice President Corporate Affairs Ursus Breweries – Award for the campaign to prevent alcohol consumption among young people and drivers

Capital Excellence in Management Gala 2023

Since 2015, the Capital magazine organizes the Excellence in Management Gala, an event that awards Romania’s successful managers.

Among the winners of the 2023 edition were:

• Răzvan Munteanu, CFO Mega Image – Award for efficient expansion of Mega Image
• Dragoș Mihai, Ceo Fildas Trading – Award for the implementation of sustainable energy technologies in the company
• Monica Vușcan, Technical Production Director Farmec SA Cluj-Napoca – Award for 3 decades of passion in the service of beauty
• Răzvan Acsente, Chief Marketing Officer Tazz by Emag – Award for the implementation of the digitization program in Horeca
• Vasile Avram Ursaciuc, Urspack manager – Award for the development of biodegradable packaging production at national level
• Ioana Birta, CFO Teraplast – Award for effective leadership of a regional accounting department
• Marius Constantin -Trifu, CTO Voidship – Award for putting Romania on the space map
• Mihai Constantinescu, former director of ARTEXIM and organizer of the George Enescu Festival – Award for keeping the George Enescu Festival on the world map of culture
• Ion Sterian, Transgaz CEO – Award for strengthening Romania’s energy security
• Mihai Daraban, President of CCIR – Special Award for Supporting Romanian Entrepreneurship

The managers presented and awarded at the Excellence in Management Gala 2023 edition were also included in Capital Top 100 Managers, a project in which the Capital editorial staff analysed the performance of heads of departments at companies in all fields of activity, tracking the results, decisions and relevant actions they had taken in the previous year.

The Capital Top 100 Managers 2023 edition was launched during the event and is structured in 10 categories: CEO, CFO, Development, Marketing and Sales, HR, CSR – Manager, Advertising Agencies, Public Administrators, Education and Research, Culture Agencies.
