RO-Wine Autumn Edition returns to Bucharest
On 15 and 16 October 2022, the organizers of the most awaited event in Romania dedicated to premium wines invite the Horeca enthusiasts and specialists to the autumn edition of the festival that was born in 2016, in the same place, Fratelli Bucharest, 1-3 Glodeni Street.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a record number of premium wines from an impressive number of producers from Romania and abroad. Year after year, the festival has continued to grow in size – since this year’s May edition, the event has been held in several halls and spaces set up to welcome over 100 wineries from Romania, the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, top sparkling wines from Champagne and Prosecco, alongside gourmet products, craft beers and specialty coffee.
This edition will also include a special area dedicated to organic wines, top representatives from the Republic of Moldova, as well as a gourmet area with international specialties, fine French-inspired pastries and bread specialties.
Carrefour Romania joins this year’s festival through Deschidem Vinul Românesc, a long-term national program, which aims to support the Romanian wine industry and put Romania on the international wine map.
Since its debut in 2019, more than 200 labels have joined the programme, some new to retail, some sold exclusively in Carrefour nationwide and some award-winning at international wine competitions such as the International Wine Contest Bucharest, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine Challenge or Decanter World Wine Awards.
Recycling without borders at RO-Wine with Reciclad`OR! The event’s sustainable partner, will bring new eco-experiences to this edition of the festival as well, with a focus on the impact that everyone has on the environment. From digital totems on separate collection and waste recycling, to the biggest challenge of creating oversized glass from all the bottles generated by consumers/visitors/producers throughout the event.
The festival includes tasting rooms, areas dedicated to relaxation and socializing for visitors and partners, as well as a specially designed room for masterclasses and presentations by wine personalities – and this edition already has a full conference calendar!
As at every edition, access for all those involved in the wine or horeca market is free, based on prior registration on the event’s official website, romaniawinefestival.com.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online on the official event website or in the festival entrance area.
Professionals from all over the country, wine shops, hotels, importers, distributors, restaurant owners, as well as visitors from abroad who came especially for this edition have registered for this event.
“We are happy to be back with a new RO-Wine autumn edition in Bucharest. The enthusiasm of our visitors is growing, which is proven by the numbers, and this has led us, together with the participating producers, to return to the pre-pandemic programme of two editions a year at Fratelli Bucharest. We have prepared a programme full of surprises and a very special selection of wines and sparkling wines for this edition” Marinela Ardelean and Liviu Popescu, organizers of RO-Wine | The International Wine Festival of Romania.

Thank you for organising this training, very useful in the context of increasingly dynamic and sometimes quite tangled environmental legislation. In an ever-changing world, it’s good to have the courage to take the step towards improvement before being forced and fined. It was a useful exchange of information even between participants, because everyone’s experience is unique and the solutions adopted can be an example for other companies. We learned valuable information and innovative solutions that can be taken from international practice.
Thanks also to the organisers, seen and unseen, who were kind and welcomed us “into their home” and were perfect hosts!
