RECICLAD‘OR at the International ISWA World Congress 2022
Our colleague Marius Brînzea, Reciclad’OR Strategy Director, will represent the company at the most important international event ISWA World Congress 2022. As a member of the WGGLI Group, Marius Brînzea will moderate the session “Challenges for the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in Developing Countries” at the ISWA World Congress 2022. Session 7 “Drivers and Key Actors in Achieving the Most Representative Directions: Profit, People and Planet” will take place on the second day of the congress, 22 September 2022, at 16:20 (details here: https://iswa2022.org/programme/day-two/)
The ISWA World Congress is a global meeting that brings together over 1,000 delegates from around the world, solid waste management professionals, government officials, industry leaders, policy makers, scientists and young professionals, who meet to present and debate perspectives and opinions that will contribute to scientific and technical progress on sustainable solid waste management.
The Congress includes high-level plenary sessions and a comprehensive scientific programme highlighting the socio-economic impacts of waste recycling, waste reduction, health, safety, recycling policy regulation and climate change and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
With the theme “Don’t waste our future”, the aim of the congress is to create a platform to showcase the waste management industry in a more dynamic way and to provide companies with a channel to exploit ideas and opinions to increase productivity and standards in the waste management industry.
ISWA World Congress 2022 takes place in Singapore from 21 to 23 September.
