Registrations have started for the Green Report Gala 2025

Romanian companies, institutions, and organizations can submit their environmental projects free of charge to the Green Report Gala 2025, inspired this year by the theme “Prometheus’ Spark.” Registrations are open until October 18.

Now in its fifth edition, the Green Report Gala has established itself as one of the most important platforms for recognizing environmental initiatives in Romania.

The event brings together companies, authorities, and organizations that, over the past year, have managed to turn sustainability plans into visible results for communities and nature.

Participation in the competition is free and takes place online, by completing the registration form available on the Gala’s official website, until October 18, 2025.

Theme of the Edition: “Prometheus’ Spark”

The central concept of this year’s edition is inspired by the myth of the titan who gave fire to humankind.

“Prometheus’ Spark” highlights the invisible yet essential force that ignites initiative, mobilizes communities, and transforms challenges into opportunities for regeneration.

The organizers say the event will celebrate “the courage to challenge the status quo, to ignite bold ideas, and to carry forward the flame of sustainability.”

“The Green Report Gala is not just an awards ceremony but also a call to action. Prometheus’ Spark symbolizes creative energy—our ability to transform visions into real and lasting projects. In a world at a crossroads, we need leaders, companies, and communities willing to light the flame of change,” said Raluca Fișer, founder of Green Report.

The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on January 22, 2026, in Bucharest, in an immersive setting that will showcase the creative power of the spark of change.

From First Editions to National Recognition

The first edition of the Green Report Gala took place in 2018, at a time when sustainability was only just beginning to take shape on Romania’s public agenda.

Since then, the competition has awarded dozens of initiatives, from energy efficiency projects in major cities to educational campaigns reaching local communities.

In five years, the Gala has become a platform for visibility and recognition for companies, public institutions, and NGOs making concrete steps toward the green transition.

Unlike other awards, the competition emphasizes measurable impact and the ways projects transform realities—whether by reducing emissions or by changing consumption habits.

Green Report, the event organizer, has nearly two decades of experience as an environmental publication and has held almost 50 thematic conferences over the years.

Its audience includes decision-makers at both European and national levels, as well as the business community, academia, and specialized NGOs.
