Reciclad’OR, partner of the 14th Edition of the National Competition “Ofrandă Sunetului”
On May 9th 2026, the Studio Hall of the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași hosted one of the longest‑running piano performance competitions for children and young people in Romania: the National Instrumental Performance Competition – Piano “Ofrandă Sunetului”. Reciclad’OR was an official partner of this event — and not by coincidence.
Why we support education through art
Our responsibility toward the environment does not stop at the collection and processing of packaging. It naturally extends to education and community — because the circular economy needs people who understand the value of an object before it becomes waste.
Music, much like sustainability, shapes character, disciplines thinking and builds bridges between generations.
Our partnership with the National Instrumental Performance Competition – Piano “Ofrandă Sunetului” was, for us, an act of coherence: we support the very future we work to protect.
The event: 80+ pianists, 14 editions, one mission
1. National scale, rigorous selection
The 14th edition brought together more than 80 students from across the country — winners of county‑level stages who advanced to the national phase.
The competition is included in the National Calendar of Educational Activities of the Ministry of Education, giving it official recognition within Romania’s pre‑university system.
2. A jury of university‑level specialists
The national stage was evaluated by faculty members from the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași and by teachers from art colleges in Iași and Suceava.
The jury awarded First, Second and Third Prizes, Honorable Mentions, the Grand Prize “Ofrandă Sunetului”, and a Special Prize for the best interpretation of a universal work.
3. A 14‑year tradition
Organized by the Iași Children’s Palace, in partnership with the Iași County School Inspectorate and the “George Enescu” University, the competition has built a strong reputation in Romania’s music education community.
The 14th edition confirmed once again that vocations are not nurtured with words — but with real opportunities for performance.
The connection to our values
There is no contradiction between a piano competition and an OIREP.
There is, instead, a logic we follow consistently: a society that knows how to value things created with care — whether it is a sonata or a well‑designed recyclable package — is a society closer to circularity.
By supporting artistic education, we invest in a culture of attention and value — qualities without which the transition to a circular economy remains only a concept on paper.
Education is the infrastructure of the circular economy.
