The 5th edition of the Green Report Gala has announced the winners of Romania’s environmental projects
The Green Report Gala announced the winners of its 2025 edition during an event that celebrated projects, companies and initiatives that are tangibly reshaping Romania’s path toward sustainability. Held under the theme “Prometheus’ Spark,” this year’s edition highlighted bold ideas that have evolved from intention into measurable impact.
Reciclad’OR was a partner of the Green Report Gala 2025, supporting a platform that brings visibility to real-world solutions in circular economy, energy, public administration, nature conservation and environmental education—key areas for the transition toward a responsible development model.
“Prometheus’ Spark”—the energy that triggers change
Inspired by the myth of Prometheus, the theme of the fifth edition focused on that initial energy that sets things in motion: people, communities and organizations that choose to act, even when change is difficult.
In a room filled with representatives of the business sector, public authorities, NGOs and leaders of green projects, the message of the evening was clear: sustainability is no longer just about communication, but about results, investments and concrete indicators.
Key messages about the power of transformation
On the stage of the Green Report Gala 2025, Romania’s Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, delivered a message of support for all those driving the green transition forward, emphasizing that environmental protection can become a form of strength and assumed responsibility.
Another symbolic moment of the evening was connected to performance and balance, through a reference to Gabriela Szabo, world champion athlete, whose message resonated strongly with the audience:
“True performance does not burn—it illuminates and unites.”
Deputy Prime Minister Tánczos Barna highlighted the role of the Green Report Gala as a space of recognition for initiatives that deliver concrete solutions and keep the “fire” of environmental protection alive in society.
Reciclad’OR, an active partner in supporting the circular economy
As partners of the Green Report Gala 2025, we witnessed the recognition of some of the most impactful environmental projects in Romania and reaffirmed our commitment to a cleaner future, built through collaboration, responsibility and action.
A key moment of the evening for the Reciclad’OR team was closely tied to the circular economy—an area central to our mission. Our colleague Marius Brînzea, a member of the event’s jury, took the stage to present the “Excellence in Circular Economy” Award to Decathlon Romania, in recognition of initiatives that transform sustainability from a concept into a concrete reality embedded in the business model.

What the 2025 edition reveals about sustainability in Romania
Beyond trophies, the Green Report Gala 2025 served as a barometer of sustainability’s growing maturity in Romania. The awarded projects are no longer “green” only in rhetoric, but in tangible results: emissions reductions, resource savings, circular infrastructures and engaged communities.
For Reciclad’OR, this partnership represents more than mere presence—it means active involvement in promoting initiatives that generate real impact.
