There are at least 54 questions that the PIATA Awards Gala will answer on the evening of November 20, 2024 – those regarding the identity of the trophy winners for the best performers of the 2023-2024 season in FMCG and Food Retail. The votes cast by 566 representatives of the consumer goods industry have determined 31 winning companies, following the voting process coordinated by ISRA Center, PIATA Awards’ specialty partner for the past 15 years.

In just a few days, on the PIATA Awards Gala stage, this edition’s hosts Maria Chirita and Mihai Radulescu (pictured above) will guide us on the path to discovering the 54 winners. They are the messengers of 54 pieces of good news on the Gala evening, just as they are almost every day on the news broadcasts. Mihai – the well-known TVR 1 and TVR Info presenter, with over 25 years of television experience – returns to the Gala after just one year. Maria is a young journalist, also within the News department of TVR 1 and TVR Info, with already solid experience as a presenter and moderator of social debate shows, as well as public events and conferences.

Not only trophy winners will be present on the Gala stage: applause and public recognition will be received by 160 top nominations, which we will present on the large screen – nominations that received the most votes in all 13 competition sections from the voting electors: 502 retailers who evaluated supplier nominations, 30 sales directors from supplier companies who evaluated retailer nominations, and 34 marketing directors from retailers and suppliers who evaluated nominations for the sustainability section.

With the important support of PIATA Awards partners, the 19th edition of the Gala will take place on the evening of November 20, 2024, being dedicated to recognizing and appreciating performances in terms of innovation, efficiency, sustainability, responsibility, consistency, development vision, creativity, and excellence.
