Adriana Calcan, PR & CSR Manager Reciclad’OR, was awarded in the 2024 edition of the Gala Capital Excellence in Management for the performance in CSR at the level of Romania. It has managed to realize more than 200 social responsibility projects and companies.

“I want to dedicate this award to the future and children. Because everything we do now represents us and will define us in the future. It may sound a bit cliche, but at the same time our actions will be seen in a few. I recently participated in an official delegation organized in Spain. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we are very well positioned in the sustainability segment and on the education side.

I had the opportunity to discover wonderful people, our Romanians abroad, whose voices are heard. I had the opportunity to meet them because together we will build sustainable projects and in partnership with other European countries. Thus, our voice will be heard abroad. As I like to say, recycling has no borders and I’m sure we do more together and this is just the beginning” said Adriana Calcan during the Capital Excellence in Management Gala.

200 SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECTS AND CAMPAIGNS

During the 7 years of performance, the Reciclad’OR team managed to maintain the company’s trend setter position in the area of ​​CSR. As an Eco-Responsible business, the company has developed over 200 social responsibility projects and campaigns. Which have been recognized domestically and internationally.

“The variety of projects that I have initiated or participated in, as a green partner, is very large, from eco-educational projects organized within educational institutions, conferences on environmental topics, to festivals and concerts in which we have developed the sustainable component, together with our partners,” said Adriana Calcan for Capital Magazine.

One of the important projects in 2023 was “Recycling Tour – Pollution-free race – L’Étape Romania by Tour de France”. In which Reciclad’OR experts ensured that the event was “100% green”. Thus, a major importance was given to the reduction of pollution and CO2 emissions by using alternative, more environmentally friendly methods.

Together for our planet!

Recycling has no borders, and this vision was supported by a Reciclad’OR project: “Together for our planet!” ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022. It took place over a period of three weeks. 4,000 participants were present, including heads of state and high-level dignitaries from 193 countries.

On the occasion of this event, Adriana Calcan was invited to coordinate and carry out the eco-type communication. Thus, he came up with specific actions addressed to the dignitaries of the UN member states, regarding the challenges facing our planet.

“There is still time to take firm action and initiate action to reduce pollution by increasing packaging recycling to 100%. The project was a real success. I am glad that I managed to position Romania on the world map through concrete actions of social responsibility”, says Reciclad’OR PR & CSR Manager.

Capital Top 100 Managers

As part of the Capital Excellence in Management Gala, the “Capital Top 100 Managers” 2024 Edition was also launched. The project brings together managers from the private and public sectors with outstanding results and performances achieved during the past year. “Capital Top 100 Managers” Edition 2024 is available at all media distribution points, but also online, on the edituradecarte.ro website.
