For the second year in a row, the company ranks first in the Top Companies in Bucharest.
Leader on the domestic market of the transfer of responsibility for packaging recycling, RecicladʹOR SA received the trophy for the 1st place in the corresponding field of activity and size class, awarded annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest. This is the second consecutive year that RecicladʹOR SA is ranked first in the Top Companies in Bucharest.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB) organized on Wednesday the 28th edition of the Top Companies in Bucharest.
During the gala event, almost 7,000 companies from Bucharest were awarded, with a cumulative turnover of 82.2 billion euros in 2020, down 4% compared to the previous edition, respectively with an operating profit of 7.2 billion euros, 6% lower compared to the reference period.
The top winners were determined according to a strict and complex methodology, approved and applied uniformly throughout the chamber system. In establishing the final rankings, indicators such as net turnover, operating profit, operating profit rate, efficiency in the use of human resources and efficiency in the use of capital employed were taken into account, calculated on the basis of 16 items extracted from financial statements submitted by companies to the Ministry of Public Finance and the National Trade Registry Office.
Thus, of the 151,495 companies with registered office in the Capital, which submitted their balance sheet for 2020, 49,092 companies met the eligibility criteria, equivalent to a share of 32.4%. Of these, 6,958 companies were distinguished, representing 14.2% of all those considered eligible, or 4.6% of all companies that submitted their balance sheet for the previous year.
In terms of the structure by sector of activity, more than a third (35%) of the award-winning companies are active in services, 28% in trade, 20% in industry, 6% in construction and research, development and high-tech, 3% in tourism and 2% in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
The award ceremony was attended by managers of the best performing companies in Bucharest, members of the Government, representatives of local government and non-governmental organisations – professional associations, chambers of commerce and employers’ organisations, as well as representatives of the press.

At the same time, Reciclad’OR SA is the OIREP that has carried out the most and most impactful information and awareness campaigns. These have reached over 3,000,000 people.
