Bucharest Street Food Festival returns on 14 and 15 May

Now in its fifth edition, the Bucharest Street Food Festival brings together the most popular food trucks in Romania on 14 and 15 May in Bucharest, in a new location closer to the heart of the city.

After a two-year break due to the pandemic, Bucharest is once again hosting the most popular street food festival. For two days, popular Romanian food trucks will gather on Kiseleff Boulevard, alongside some of the most popular artists of the moment. Bucharest Street Food Festival proposes again this year a unique experience, combining street food from over 10 international cuisines with quality live music, all enjoyed in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

Bucharest Street Food Festival

Encouraged by the existence of street food festivals, many of today’s food truck owners are young people who have invested their savings in caravans in which they now sell street food. Popular food trucks from all over the country come together in a festival of surprising flavours, with dishes for every taste, from pizza, burgers, seafood and cannoli to smoothies and lemonade. Vendors include Arepas, Arome Healthy Bar, Arrosticini, Bavarian XXL, Baz Burgers, Big John, Burger Van, Camionetta, Circus Pub, Delights on Wheels, Drunken Squid, Famous Waffles, Flameburgers, Furgoneta, I Bubble Waffle, Indivan, Jerry’s Pizza, Iulian’s Lemonade, Meat Busters, Pastammore, Smokin Pig, Republika Pljeskavica, Za German Wurstwagen, Zobuian.

Each day of the festival brings together some of today’s best-loved artists: Deliric & Silent Strike, Man on the Moon, Balkan Taksim, Jazú, R.U.A., Monsieur Ruchenstein, Andi Moisescu DJ Set and many more. Visitors are also invited to a Party Bus, located at the entrance to Kiseleff Boulevard, where a series of DJs will keep the party going late into the night.

Reciclad’OR, Remat Holding and Rom Waste Solutions bring the green component of the festival. In addition to the special selective collection points, there will also be unique activities and many eco-experiences. Visit the Reciclad`OR corner and discover the installations made 100% from recyclable waste, by Alexandru Mocanu, designed to draw attention to environmental protection.
