ExtravaCANza

On the weekends 12-14 and 19-21 July, took place on Cleopatra beach in Mamaia laExtravaCANza – an awareness raising action under the umbrella of the European program Every Can Counts (www.everycancounts.ro) run in Romania by Alucro Association. Reciclad’OR encouraged the recycling of aluminium cans, and all packaging waste and urges tourists to keep the Romanian coast clean!

In addition to collecting aluminium cans, the organisers have included fun activities for all ages – sports, music and interactive games.

The campaign involves tourists collecting aluminium cans and placing them in a smart machine, which allows them to see how many cans they have inserted and, based on the voucher issued by the machine, to choose one of the prizes prepared by the organisers.
