Reciclad`OR participated in the delegation of Romanian entrepreneurs in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.

ROMANIA, BARCELONA and the BALEARIC ISLANDS. A strategic vision and the consolidation of economic bridges

The Embassy of Romania / BPCE Madrid, together with the Consulate General of Romania in Barcelona, ​​with the support of the Honorary Consul of Romania in the Balearic Islands, organized an economic mission to Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca between March 22-26, 2024, with the objective of supporting Romanian companies interested in internationalization on the Spanish market, cooperation with Spanish companies and the consolidation and creation of economic bridges and exchange of know-how between the two markets.

Economic partnership Romania – Spain

The event is part of the action plan to promote Romania in Spain in 2024.

The actions provided for in the mission were:

  • Business and Investment Opportunities Romania-Spain – Barcelona March 22;
  • Institutional visits to regional authorities – Palma, March 25;
  • Romania-Spain Business and Investment Opportunities round table – Palma, March 26;
  • B2B meetings with Spanish companies interested in collaborations with Romanian partners – Palma, March 26.

Identified sectors of interest:  IT/Software, Recycling, Sustainability, Tourism/HoReCa and Green Energy (renewable, recycling, etc.).

Reciclad’OR, the only OIREP in Romania invited in the economic mission

Reciclad`OR was also among the Romanian companies invited to participate in this economic mission, being the only organization that implements extended producer responsibility present at this meeting in the activity segment.

“It was an honor for me to represent the Reciclad`OR company at this diplomatic mission and to be able to share the values ​​and business principles that the company develops on the profile market in Romania.

We have identified new opportunities for sustainable business growth between Barcelona, ​​the Balearic Islands and Romania, which we will develop in the future. The consolidation of bilateral relations between companies with Spanish capital in the sustainability segment will facilitate the exchange of experience between Romanian and Spanish specialists and will contribute to the improvement of sustainable solutions implemented in Romania through the transfer of know-how and knowledge in the field”, said Adriana Calcan, PR&CSR Manager Reciclad’OR, present at the economic mission in Spain.

The event was a real success, being also covered by the local press in Spain.
