RECICLAD’OR, awards for successful managers at the Capital Gala “Excellence in Management”
Reciclad’OR was one of the partners of the Capital Gala “Excellence in Management”, which rewards the most outstanding people in the management field working in Romania. Adriana Calcan, PR&CSR Manager Reciclad’OR, was invited to present the awards in the “CSR” category, where the best people behind the most successful social projects started during 2021 were selected.
Capital Gala “Excellence in Management”
The “Excellence in Management” Gala is one of the many traditional events organized by Capital magazine and is dedicated to presenting and awarding Romanian managers with outstanding results and who manage to perform, regardless of the industry they belong to or the department they lead.
The managers presented at the event were included in the Capital Top 100 Managers, a project in which Capital’s editorial staff analysed the performance of heads of departments at companies in all sectors of activity, looking at their results, decisions and relevant actions in the previous year.
Capital Top 100 Managers is structured in 10 categories: CEO, CFO, COO, Marketing, PR, Sales, CSR, HR, Public Administrator, Medical Director.
Expert in CSR campaigns, Reciclad’OR – awards for CSR projects and managers
CSR is about involving companies in improving the community in which they operate. CSR campaigns address very important common ground, from protecting the environment to changing climate conditions or projects aimed at improving the living and working environment of their employees.
Reciclad’OR is the OIREP that has carried out the most and most impactful information and awareness campaigns at national level. Reciclad`OR has initiated more than 100 sustainable projects, information and awareness campaigns, reaching more than 3,000,000 people.
“CSR is a responsibility of all of us to the environment. For over five years, Reciclad’OR has been a trend-setter in CSR programmes and campaigns and I am glad to see that interest in these actions is growing”, said Adriana Calcan, PR&CSR Manager Reciclad’OR.
Representing the company Reciclad’OR, Adriana Calcan, awarded the prizes in the CSR category of the Capital Gala “Excellence in Management”, the winners being Angela Achiței – Alături de Voi Foundation, Alexandru Costache – Doctors for Romania Association and Alina Pătrăhău – Give Wings Association.
In the same category, Daniela Bololoi – Help Autism Association, Dorica Dan – Rare Diseases Association of Romania, Stefan Dărăbuș – Hope and Homes for Children, Maria Duduman – Do Good Foundation, Alice Nechita – CSR Coca Cola, Anca Sandu – Casa Bună and Dragoș Tuță – Embassy of Sustainability in Romania were nominated.
Reciclad’OR SA, leader of the responsibility transfer market
Reciclad’OR has innovated the responsibility transfer market by implementing an online electronic reporting platform, easily accessible by both producer companies and collector and recycler partners. The e-reciclare.ro portal, the only one of its kind in Romania, has become an invaluable monthly aid to companies placing small quantities of packaging on the market, enabling them to go through the entire reporting process in less than ten minutes.
At the same time, anticipating the complexity of the transition to the Circular Economy and identifying a series of specific risks and opportunities, RecicladʹOR launched the unique service in Romania, the Circular Economy Training, exclusively addressed to more than 730 partner companies.
Reciclad’OR is a member of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and the Prevent Waste Alliance (PWA), two of the largest packaging and packaging waste management associations in the European Union.
