Who we are

Reciclad’OR SA was founded in 2017 as a natural continuation of the activities and vision of top companies in the consumer goods and waste management industries. The company operates as an OIREP (Organization that Implements Extended Producer Responsibility), with its main objective being taking over the responsibility for recycling packaging placed on the market by producers.

The shareholders of Reciclad’OR SA are: Maspex România SRL, Unicom Production SRL (Urlați), Colector Glass SRL, Le Manoir SA, and Klaus SRL (Artesana) — companies that have understood that environmental protection is not just a legal obligation, but an essential pillar of a sustainable business model.

In an increasingly complex legislative context, responsible producers are aware that only through collaboration and specialized solutions can they achieve real results in increasing recycling rates. Reciclad’OR responds to this need through complete packaging recycling responsibility transfer services, thus becoming one of the market leaders today, alongside over 1,300 partner companies.

OIREP Ecosystem

As an OIREP authorized by the Ministry of Environment, Reciclad’OR is at the center of a complex ecosystem, connecting all the actors involved in the packaging life cycle: producers and importers, collectors, recyclers, local authorities (ADI/UAT), and the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM).

Through this ecosystem, Reciclad’OR ensures that the packaging recycling responsibility is transferred, managed, and reported correctly — so that partner companies can continue their activity without administrative worries or risk of sanctions.

Recognition and Certifications

Reciclad’OR SA operates under the operating license granted by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, as an Organization that Implements Extended Producer Responsibility (OIREP). The license confirms that our activity fully complies with the legal framework in force and that we are a trusted partner for fulfilling recycling obligations.

The annual endorsement certifies that the operating authorization is reconfirmed year after year, based on audits and reports submitted to the competent authorities.

Reciclad’OR’s activity is supported by a solid portfolio of international certifications, legal licenses, and awards granted by prestigious institutions in Romania. These recognitions reflect our constant commitment to quality, sustainability, and responsibility — both towards partners and towards the environment.

OIREP operating license

Reciclad'OR SA holds the operating license granted by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, which authorizes us to operate as an Organization that Implements Extended Producer Responsibility. The license is reconfirmed annually through the endorsement issued by the Extended Producer Responsibility Supervisory Commission.

ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System

Certificate awarded by SRAC and internationally recognized through the IQNet network, certifying that Reciclad'OR implements and maintains an effective environmental management system, in accordance with the highest international standard in the field.

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System

Certificate awarded by SRAC and internationally recognized through the IQNet network, confirming that Reciclad'OR's internal processes comply with global quality standards, ensuring consistent and high-quality services for all our partners.

E-reciclare.ro – Responsibility transfer just a click away

E-reciclare.ro is the digital platform developed by Reciclad’OR, through which any producing or importing company of packaging can fulfill the legal recycling obligation quickly, simply, and 100% online.

The process is transparent from start to finish: companies register on the platform, complete the data about the packaging placed on the market, and Reciclad’OR takes over all administrative responsibilities, reports on their behalf, and issues the necessary legal documents.

Through e-reciclare.ro, we eliminate bureaucracy and provide certainty that recycling obligations are fulfilled correctly, on time, and without risks. It is the ideal solution for small and medium-sized companies that want to comply with environmental legislation without administrative effort.

Workshops and Webinars

Reciclad’OR periodically organizes workshops and webinars dedicated exclusively to its partners — producers, importers, and distributors — on essential environmental legislation topics: PPWR, CSRD, SGR, and Extended Producer Responsibility.

The sessions take place at the Bucharest headquarters or, upon request, at our partners’ premises, and are free for partner companies.

Over 300 CSR campaigns

Reciclad’OR believes that recycling does not stop at legal obligations — it must become a life habit. That is why, since its establishment, the company has initiated and supported over 300 environmental education and social responsibility campaigns in schools, parks, festivals, and communities across Romania.

From organized selective collections with children, to partnerships with major festivals and sporting events, Reciclad’OR’s CSR campaigns have reached hundreds of thousands of citizens and contributed to the collection of significant amounts of recyclable waste.

We believe that real change comes from education, not from obligations. And we continue to invest in it.
